ended in a series of crashes in the mission district. the california highway patrol noticed the suspect driving under the influence. authorities chased her as she drove on to city streets. hit a parked car and that car then hit a man who was walking with his bicycle. the woman continued to drive and then hit another parked car. and that crash stopped her car and that is when she was taken into custody. >> she was injured in the collision. minor. and taken to the hospital. and once she was cleared she was booked into the county jail. >> the suspect is cerena barros, the chp says she has several arrests for bui. cal-osha is investigating the death of a man who was crushed by a fork lift about 9:30 a.m.

this morning at sierra -- over super lynx plastic. workers were lifting one fork lift with another when it fell and crushed a worker. the victim was a 34-year-old man from oakland. cal-osha investigated them twice last year, one for two minor violations and another a worker sprained his ankle. judge made it official today, the solyndra plant will be sold to seigate technology for $90 million. they will use the facility for their operations. no additional details was given. president obama called solyndra a model of green technology and then went bankrupt later. new health concerns about another type of energy product, this time it is the 5-hour energy which comes in a shot

squad. officers rushed to the apartments after 9:00 p.m. last night after a call about a shooting. officers found a man who was dead from a gun shot wound and they also found a suspicious object. it was not an explosive device. the name of the man who was killed is with held. a hiker died after falling from a rock in the berkeley hills. the body was found on berkeley property. he was hiking with friends. they called officers when he went missing. police found the body. the investigation continues. they had been drinking earlier. the victim was in his mid-20s. slighterns can growing in the -- slight concerns are growing in the daly city neighborhood after a mudslide and new information on the calm

calm that caused the mudslide. you can see a completely different situation than when the water was flowing. on tuesday it was massive mud and water. ktvu's ken pritchett joins us from daly city. you learned the amount of water and mud is much larger than first thought. >> reporter: yeah. at first the city said 45,000 gallons of water and mud and essentially buried this city park and flowed into the neighborhood. now the city says it was more than twice as much. not 45,000, but 97,000 gallons of water that created this mess. >> reporter: this is a picnic table, the top of it, buried in 3 feet of mud. the mud came from the hill slide. this is the park and neighborhood tuesday morning a

kind of shocking to hear that from a guy who has a lot to lose. >> katt williams has been released and we spoke with officials who tell us he will perform as scheduled tomorrow night. oil refineries under the microscope as the committee held a hearing into this year's change of gas price spikes. ktvu's consumer editor tom vacar joins us live where the chevron refinery was crippled last august. >> reporter: of the 8 largest price spikes in the last 15 years, four of them occurred in 2012, including our all time high. the key question, did numerous outages cause real shortages or were they caused by a few exercising their market power

the state department says many of california children are not in shape. fitness tests show a third of tested students were in good

we were in oakland at 2:00 p.m. and production continued. in jeopardy brands that may stop being produced because of a stalemate between management and workers. >> reporter: workers at this bakery in oakland say they joined bakers at 26 other plants nationwide on strike after a judge imposed a contract with too many take away. they say it is necessary to stay in business. leaders say the company has been mismanaged and now workers are being asked to sacrifice too month. he worked here for 28 years says 92% voted to walk out saying enough is enough. >> they are trying to make a profit by taking away from the worker's wages, not by sales or improvements in the product.
